Help keep your children safe and keep track of your childs whereabouts by setting them a playground that they should play within.

Once set, the child is free to roam within the permitted playground. Should the child step outside this permitted area, a warning message will be displayed on the phone advising that the child is outside the permitted play area and should return as soon as possible. The child can check their own location by viewing their position on a map, highlighting if they are within the permitted playground or not.

Parent Perimeter allows the parent to define a playground (perimeter) that their child should stay within. If the child steps outside of this playground, an alert is delivered to the phone informing the child to return to the allowed area. An email is also delivered to the parent, so that they get a notice that the child is outside the playground.

Parent Perimeter will keep track of the childs position and display it onto a map on screen. The defined playground is also highlighted, so the child can easily see where the playground boundaries are set.

The application allows for numerous playgrounds to be defined, so the allowed playground can easily be selected when at home, visiting family, or on a day out somewhere. This makes it very easy to switch playgrounds for areas that are visited regularly.

Once the application is started, the parent defines a perimeter for the child and sets that as the active perimeter. The application will run silently in the background, and will keep track of the childs location.

Controls within Parent Perimeter will send a notification each time the application is started. If your child shuts down the application to avoid getting alerts, and later restarts it, a notification is sent to the parents email address each time. This will help keep track of wether or not the child is closing down the app so as not to be tracked.

You can check if the application is still running on the phone by double-tapping the home button to look at what applications are currently running.

Once the child is outside the permitted area, an alert will be delivered at a regular interval to remind the child to return to the permitted area.

NOTE: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
